Shade Guide
Two bases, two shade ranges — BB Cream (9 shades) and Foundation (16 shades). Here's how to find yours without swatching in a store.
First, find your undertone
Look at the skin on the inside of your wrist in daylight.
- Cool — you see pink, red or bluish tones. Veins look blue or purple.
- Neutral — you can't clearly pick one. Veins look blue-green.
- Warm — you see golden, peachy or olive tones. Veins look green.

Three rules that save most mistakes
- Test on your jaw, not your hand. Hands are almost always a different depth from the face.
- Judge in daylight, near a window. Store lighting and phone screens both lie.
- Between two shades? Go deeper. Both formulas sheer out slightly as they warm on the skin, and a base that's too light reads grey.
